Job Description:
Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for an Associate Cinematic Director to join the development of our next AAA title—an exciting new Narrative Driven IP.
Feed your creativity while driving the development of our game’s world and story! Collaborate with our highly skilledteam to build something innovative, exhilarating, and expansively entertaining.
As theleader of the cinematics department, you’llguide the creation of memorable moments in telling an epic player driven story. You’ll also oversee the project’s cinematic pipelines, tools, and best practices, and you’llmanage your team by tasking and reviewing work, providing growth opportunities in skill and career progression, and tending to the emotional health of the team. You’ll work closely with Narrative, Content, Gameplay, and Art leadsto coordinate, design, implement, and polish the cinematic work of the game.
As a leader on the project, you’ll help take the studio and our game from great to even better—with a focus on inclusivity, mutual respect (for ourselves and our players), thoughtfulness, empathy, professionalism, and collaboration.

You’ll help us by…
Taking narrative ownership of the cinematic and dialogue presentations and pipelines, helping bring the characters, world, and story to life.
You’re awesome because you have…
Experience with technical cinematics design (animation, camera presentation, facial animations, and conveying mood and emotions).
Experience in adjacent disciplines such as quest design, narrative design, environment art, programming,etc...

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $124,400.00 - $230,300.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
