Responsibilities:
The Data Analyst will provide analytics and reporting along with building forecasting models, using excel, Tableau and machine learning tools.
Responsible for building key reports and building models for sales forecasting and doing promo analysis with high accuracy using analytics and build models based on Ecommerce sales drivers, promotional analysis and using category specific business knowledge.
Build Key reports and consolidate reports across LOBs (Weekly Demand and Revenue outlook)
Hands-on to build Sales forecasting using several variables (Traffic, Seasonality, multiple promos etc.) using Machine Learning Models
Develop weekly/monthly/quarterly sales forecast for both quantity and revenue
Use Machine Learning/AI for Promotional analysis for attribution, elasticity and ROI/financial analysis
Build a play book to use Promotional lift and to recommend promos to achieve goals
Develop monthly/quarterly targets and distribute the targets to various categories/channels and traffic drivers for Ecommerce
Improve long term forecasting w/suitable analytical methodologies
Use advanced analytics methodologies such as ML/AI forecasting methodologies for sales forecasting
Create presentations with compelling data driven story to share with leadership, cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations
Background/Experience:
Bachelors degree in math/analytics/engineering is required
6+ years of experience in analytics with both advanced excel and Machine Learning Models.
60% of the role is reporting and business focused analysis
40% of the role is Machine Learning model development for forecasting and Promotional analysis
Experience in reporting with excel
Hands-on with advanced excel with attention to detail to integrate complex data to build forecasting and to perform analysis
Knowledge of ML/AI models for forecasting, pricing and promotional analytics for business analytics is needed
Knowledge of building and using Tableau is required
Python programming skills for ML is required
