We are seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in US Broker-Dealer Equity back office operations to join our client's Post Trade IT team. The ideal candidate must have an understanding of settlement, accounting, corporate actions, and regulatory reporting within a Broker-Dealer context, along with deep IT skills, including the ability to review source code, write and execute SQL queries, and understand scripts in Windows and Unix (Bash, Perl, Python).

Description
- Collaborate closely with user representatives (operations) to gather business requirements, identify potential issues, and address any functional gaps, while documenting the requirements.
- Create detailed functional specifications for IT development teams to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Develop user test cases, validate results during user acceptance testing, and provide training to Summit end users; coordinate the go-live process and ensure proper system functionality.
- Oversee project scoping, planning, and progress reporting, while managing risks, issues, and ensuring clear communication throughout the project.
Profile
- In-depth knowledge of US broker-dealer equity back office systems, such as Broadridge Shadow, BPS, or FIS Phase 3, with familiarity in equity market products.
- Strong IT skills, including reviewing source code, writing and executing SQL queries (SQL Server), and understanding scripts in Windows/Unix (Bash, Perl, Python).
- Proven ability to analyze complex problems with great attention to detail and deliver effective solutions.
- Capable of prioritizing and multitasking in a fast-paced environment across multiple applications.
- Familiarity with C++, C#, Python, XML, XSLT, and Excel VBA is a plus.
