Business Development Analyst - London Algebris is an independent, global asset management company that provides long only and alternative investment strategies. We began by investing in the global financial sector, covering the capital structure of financial institutions across equity and credit. We have since broadened our expertise to global credit, Italian equity, and sustainable investing. In our private strategies, we invest in non-performing loans in Italy and in the green transition space. Founded in 2006, Algebris has offices in London, Milan, Rome, Dublin, Zurich, Boston, Singapore, and Tokyo. We have consolidated relationships with a global base of institutional investors, wealth managers and investment advisors who have entrusted us with in excess of EUR28bn AUM. The Role: We are looking to hire a Business Development Analyst in our London office to support and grow our network of investors across Iberia, Middle East and LATAM. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited, to: Managing relationships with investors and support fundraising activities. This can include conducting market intelligence analysis, organising meetings and roadshows, actively participating in marketing initiatives, preparing investors’ due diligence, and managing new clients’ on-boarding process. Contributing to the production and update of marketing materials (presentations, factsheets, investor letters). Servicing existing and potential investors to make sure they have all the information required to make investment decisions. This includes providing timely updates on Algebris strategies and handling regular information requests, as well as ad-hoc requests. Developing a strong technical understanding of the different asset classes relevant to the Algebris fund range to be able to discuss our products effectively and confidently with existing investors and prospects. Maintain and update our Client Relationship Management (CRM) database. The role will primarily involve sales support responsibilities as the candidate becomes familiar with Algebris investor network and product range, and will gradually transition into a full business development position with a focus on distribution networks. Requirements and Qualifications: 2-5 years of experience in a similar sales or sales support role at an asset manager. Fluent in both English and Spanish. Excellent communication skills. Deep understanding of financial markets and the asset management industry acquired through education or experience. Result driven and entrepreneurial attitude. Able to multitask and perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines.
