Referment has exclusively partnered with boutique hedge fund in London who are looking to hire a Software Engineer to build a new data platform used by Portfolio Managers and Quants to make investment decisions. The platform will replace a legacy KDB system with a view to improve the way market data is stored, processed and enriched, enabling Quants and Data Scientists to do advanced analytics at a greater scale. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of C# experience within financial services as well as proven experience building data platforms with modern data technologies like Snowflake or similar. Experience with relational databases, SQL and Python would also be highly beneficial to be a good fit for this opportunity. This is a chance to join a high performing hedge fund who are going through a period of growth and work on a Greenfield build out of a front office data platform.
