About the role
We're looking for a Theatrical Distribution Manager to lead distribution activity for theatrical releases across EMEA. You will increase revenue in 70 territories by developing and executing distribution strategies as part of Crunchyroll’s global theatrical business. Reporting to the Director of Theatrical Distribution EMEA, you will manage all phases of a release, working closely with teams across Acquisitions, Production, Marketing, and Operations.
This London-based role follows a hybrid schedule (three days in-office per week).
Core Areas of Responsibility
You will plan and execute theatrical releases across EMEA, working with internal marketing teams and distribution partners to maximise performance.
- Forecast box office potential, analyse pre/post-release performance, and refine future release plans.
- Work with Acquisitions and Marketing to shape distribution strategy and release timing. Ensure marketing efforts align with exhibitor partnerships.
- Strengthen the relationship with Sony Pictures Releasing International (SPRI), providing guidance and defining release strategies for all territories.
- Monitor industry trends, territory performance, and regulatory shifts to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide regional insights and recommendations to support Crunchyroll’s global theatrical distribution strategy.
About You

- 5+ years experience working in the theatrical film industry with a focus on distribution, independent experience a plus
- You have experience building strong relationships with exhibitors and distributors, enabling you to support release plans and ensure successful title launches.
