Are you interested in creating a new machine learning cycle to deliver cutting edge content and generate better data management?
Bring your enthusiasm, interest and curiosity to the table and help shape the digital platform that supports the health and safety for everyone in the LEGO Group.
Core Responsibilities
Key tasks:
- Understand the health and safety data.
- Maintain the translation setup to adapt to new content (python).
- Maintain current machine learning cycle.
- Create new machine learning cycle to support decision making.
- Identify future possibilities and the information that needs to be added for it to be achieved.
Purpose of the role:
The EHS department has a basic data analysis setup based on information gathered from SAP. Though the current process is reactive, we have the ambition to go further and become more proactive in our approach and identify trends that are currently laying in the unstructured and nominal data (such as descriptions). This will allow us to answer new questions such as:
- What can we do to prevent the next (lost time) injury?
- Which area should we focus on (campaign, training,…)?
- Who is prone to incidents?
And also allow for an improvement of the quality of the information reported:
- Is the incident properly classified?
To reach that goal, we are looking for a Master degree student worker for a minimum of a year who will look into using machine learning cycles on the health and safety incident data.
All current development are made in Databricks in Python and deployed to the relevant environments by using GitHub. Descriptions are provided in multiple languages and translated automatically in Databricks. It will be important to maintain the current setup and build on it.
