You have experience in implementing open access, free-play services, and are knowledgeable about safeguarding, health and safety, and working with vulnerable groups. A relevant Play Work qualification, such as NVQ or Cache Level 2 or above, is essential for this role. What the Job Involves Your primary role is to support the delivery of high-quality play activities in playgrounds and parks, ensuring the facilities operate effectively and safely. You will engage directly with children and young people, fostering their development through enjoyable and engaging programs. You'll also participate in consultations for activity planning, maintain records, and support maintenance tasks. Promoting services, supporting fundraising initiatives, and engaging with volunteers are also key responsibilities. Adhering to council policies and safeguarding procedures is crucial.
