Job Summary The Senior Nursing Assistant serves as an experienced caregiver, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). You will be accountable for delivering exceptional care, addressing both the physical and psychological needs of residents while following care plans. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing. Obtaining and recording vital signs and providing psychosocial support. Helping residents transfer, reposition, and walk using proper techniques. Creating a positive dining experience and assisting with meals. Documenting care and communicating any changes in residents’ conditions to the charge nurse. Participating in wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident engagement. Maintaining cleanliness in living areas through housekeeping and laundry duties. You may also lead restorative nursing programs and will be expected to complete training within six months. We are looking for someone who demonstrates leadership, problem-solving, and high accountability in all aspects of their work. Qualifications To qualify for this position, you should have: A high school diploma or GED (preferred). A minimum age of 16 and two years of clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care (preferred). A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from the State Board of Nursing. Annual completion of continuing education credits, with at least 12 hours required. Possibly certification with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry for applicable states.
