The Senior Program Manager is a high-impact leadership role within the IT-PMO, responsible for driving the execution of EchoStar’s most complex, cross-functional software initiatives for the DISH Media and Sling brands. This role requires a unique blend of technical IT acumen and deep familiarity with the media sales lifecycle.
You will be responsible for driving shared goals across cross-functional groups—including internal IT infrastructure and Security teams, software engineering, and business partners. You will ensure the "monetization engine" (from lead generation to order fulfillment) is robust, scalable, and aligned with revenue targets.
- Enterprise Media Sales Delivery: Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale initiatives focused on media sales campaign management and order fulfillment for both digital and linear advertising.
- Vendor & Partner Orchestration: Lead and synchronize initiatives involving multiple external vendors and data partners. Ensure third-party integrations (e.g., measurement partners, SSPs, and data providers) meet EchoStar’s technical and security standards.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the "glue" between various groups, fostering collaboration between IT, DISH Media Programs and Products, and IT Finance to ensure technical roadmaps support sales delivery.
- Campaign Lifecycle Oversight: Oversee technical projects that impact the Ad Sales "Lead-to-Cash" process, ensuring that inventory management and billing orchestration systems are seamless and reliable.
- Strategic Executive Communication: Translate complex technical milestones into business value for the CTIO and DISH Media executives, providing clear updates on project health and revenue-impacting risks.
- Agile Governance & Mentorship: Drive process improvements within Scrum/Kanban frameworks and mentor junior PMO members on managing high-pressure delivery cycles like Upfronts.
Skills, Experience and RequirementsEducation and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; PMP certification or specialized AdTech training is a plus.
- 4+ years of Program Management experience
- Industry Experience: Experience in Media, AdTech, Video Services or Telecommunications is preferred.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Track record of managing large-scale enterprise media sales initiatives
- Media Sales Domain Expertise: Direct exposure to campaign management and order fulfillment workflows for digital and/or linear advertising is highly preferred.
- Vendor Management: Demonstrated experience managing high-value initiatives involving external software vendors and complex third-party data integrations.
- AdTech Knowledge: Familiarity with the AdTech stack, including OMS (Order Management Systems), CRMs (Salesforce), Billing and ad-serving platforms (e.g., FreeWheel, Google Ad Manager).
- Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to drive disparate groups and influence outcomes in a matrixed environment without direct authority.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise of Atlassian Jira and Confluence; ability to manage complex dependencies across multiple development teams.

Salary RangesCompensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year
