A unique opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the First Peoples - State Relations Group, in the Treaty Negotiations and Strategy Branch as Administration Officer at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
Working within the Treaty Negotiations and Strategy Division, the Administration Officer will support the delivery of division priorities by providing responsive administrative and project management support to the executive team and to teams across the division.
As the Administration Officer, you will provide high-quality, responsive, and confidential secretarial, administrative, and executive support to the Treaty Negotiations and Strategy Division executives, including diary, email, and file management.
Responsibilities also include managing communications and approvals with integrity and autonomy, assisting with stakeholder meetings and events, supporting project administration, maintaining document management systems, and contributing to a positive organisational culture.

- Demonstrated professional or lived experience commitment to the rights of First Peoples in Victoria or Indigenous people.
- Highly developed planning and organising skills and ability to identify processes, tasks and resources required to achieve a goal.
- Strong project management skills, including effective management of processes and resources, within time and budget demands.
- Excellent written communication skills, including an appreciation for the highly sensitive and confidential nature of some materials.
- Strong organisational awareness, including understanding the priorities and interests of various groups and key individuals.
