The Senior Technical Engineer is responsible for providing a high level expertise on assigned product and act as support to the TSC Department, In-House Repair operations and management.
Job Description:
- Must commit oneself to continuous learning to become expert to all assigned products & Solutions;
- Lead and Participate in technical Projects, ensuring timely and successful completion within the scope:
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, helping them in problem-solving and technical decision-making
- Accept service or support calls from internal and external customers;
- Conduct High Standard of Product training to the clients;
- Conduct Proof Of Concept (POC) to assigned Solutions to prospective clients;
- Report directly to the I.T Manager regarding problems and issues affecting the work or responsibilities assigned;
- Responsible for providing solution for in-house technical concerns;
- Provide I.T Services through Product Implementation to client;
- Update the customer on the status of each item brought it for repair on the specified dates;
- Testing RMA units;
- Coordinate with the Internal RMA Coordinator and/or the suppliers for RMA items and ensure that they are replaced according to the set timetable;
- Submit any reports related to technical task;
- May Conduct Joint Sales Call/Visit to potential clients;
- Maybe Responsible for canvassing the prices of the needed spare parts; and
- Other responsibilities that may be assigned by the I.T Manager.
Job Specifications:
- Graduate of any Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Science & Technology or equivalent;
- Must have At least 1 Year experience in the I.T Industry
- Good inter-personal and customer relation skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong Business Acumen, focused and results oriented;
- Strong Presentation Skills, a winning attitude and strong work ethic;
- Excellent Teamwork skills, Creative, pro-active, resourceful, self-motivated and independent; and
