THE ROLE
We're seeking an experienced Senior Producer to lead the production of industry-leading creative materials for the entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative and intelligent approach to create and project manage the creation of AV marketing materials, driving creative that is talked about and adds value for their clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- From conception through to delivery, coordinate and lead teams to ensure every project is successfully delivered to budget, within schedule, and exceeds brief expectations.
- Fully scope creative briefs and understand how to elevate every aspect of the project to optimize the work using your expert understanding of the industry.
- Accurately brief and manage editors, designers, and finishers to create award-worthy creative materials within budget and to deadline.
- Work independently and with the Creative Directors/Executive Producer, initiating brainstorms to lead multi-disciplined teams to create concepts that surpass the briefs’ expectations.
- Follow internal workflows and best practices throughout the lifecycle of each project.
- Possess an exceptional eye for elevating a creative through the use of music & sound design, graphics, and copywriting, and communicate this to your team for execution.
- Have a strong understanding of EU delivery and trafficking, censorship bodies throughout the EU, as well as music sourcing and licensing.
- Produce creative pitch decks with a focus on strong copywriting and visual examples to ensure the creative concepts are perfectly pitched.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients while nurturing your existing client base to generate opportunities and ultimately revenue for the business.
- Maintain momentum with the client when closing a project by proactively targeting a particular title or project.
- Keep up to date with trade news and be aware of significant industry dates such as big releases, platform launches, film festivals, and award ceremonies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of creative producing experience in an agency, production company, studio, or broadcaster.
- Demonstrate first-class communication skills with both clients and the internal team, ensuring all correspondence is articulate and within a timely manner.
- Highly organized and personable with a passion for successfully delivering a variety of projects from single title originations to cut downs, always aiming to exceed client expectations.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Thrive under pressure and resolve challenges in the production process in a calm and effective manner.
- Lead, inspire, and motivate teams to execute and deliver on industry-leading creative.
- Have a vast awareness of the latest trends, platforms, and methods in the industry and use this to produce innovative content ideation that aligns perfectly with the brief.
- Confidence to suggest ideas or concepts that are outside the client brief or scope.
- Be technically literate across all departments outside of production including Editorial, Design, and Finishing.
- Have a fluent understanding of frame rates, aspect ratios, and file specs.
- The ability to QC your own work to ensure accuracy and a good awareness of compliance.
- A good understanding of motion design including composition, animation, and typography.
- Mentorship of junior team members, being a reliable resource for them to learn and seek information from.
- Have an established pool of freelancers that you can trust to execute a brief as well as an extensive and diverse music library contact list.
- A demonstrable love of cinema and TV.
