The Marketing Executive - Performance reports to the Head of CRM and Performance Marketing and is responsible for supporting UKTV’s performance marketing efforts. This role involves developing and executing data-driven campaigns to optimise audience acquisition, engagement, and retention, delivering overall business growth with a focus on on-demand viewing.
As Marketing Executive - Performance you will be responsible for supporting the Performance Marketing Team to develop and implement strategies that drive conversion across a variety of channels including display, social media, and online video networks. You will leverage your expertise in digital marketing, analytics, and creativity to drive measurable results and contribute to the overall objectives of the organisation.

Experience
- Some experience in a similar performance role, although broadcast experience is not a requirement.
Knowledge
- A digital native fluent in digital marketing tools and emerging technologies.

What you will get to work on: Key outputs and responsibilities of the role
- Support the development of all UKTV performance marketing plans.
- Implement these plans, from briefing and overseeing creative asset development through to the application of campaign learnings.
- Utilise data to monitor and optimise campaign effectiveness.
- Will support across all performance marketing channels and at times take a leading role on some channels to bring audiences into UKTV content.
- Support the execution of UKTV’s paid search strategy, at times taking responsibility for creative, keywords and copy to ensure the search and app store channels are maximised to deliver views to the business.
- Support the performance marketing team manager and spend a growing budget.
- Report to senior stakeholders on performance marketing effectiveness and ROI.
- Collaborate with a wide range of cross-discipline teams to test and optimise our performance marketing approach.
- Have a direct impact on viewing figures and tangible contribution to business objectives.
- Develop new, innovative, and creative solutions to ensure UKTV’s performance marketing aims for best-in-class success metrics.
- Support the development and execution of performance marketing strategies.
- Work with design creatives to produce effective marketing assets.
- Work with agency partners to constantly drive effectiveness.
- Collaborate with UKTV’s Data, Research, and Insights teams to drive more effective work.
- Support on the budget management of a growth area in UKTV marketing.
- Generate and communicate insightful performance reports.
- Always be on the lookout for ways to improve and innovate creative assets.
- Run test and learn campaigns self-sufficiently.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate into UKTV marketing strategies.
