The Role:
Reporting directly to the CCO, the SMM position has been created at a hugely exciting time for our business. We have set our sights on an ambitious three-year growth strategy of which the SMM will pay an integral part. The SMM will design and develop our marketing strategy to help us to reach our goals.
What you will do:
- Design and implement the marketing strategy to drive multi-channel brand marketing from end to end, including social channels, email marketing, customer events, strategic partnerships, and collaborations, driving awareness & improve brand sentiment
- Develop and deliver the yearly marketing budget in line with business needs
- Plan and measure performance KPIs to identify trends and revenue opportunities
- Work with Sales teams on shared goals around customer growth and awareness, identifying opportunities to reach new market segments
- Manage external PR agency, identifying and actioning new opportunities for the business
- Collaborate with teams across C-Screens to identify and deliver opportunities to enhance brand reputation and success in new and existing markets
- Optimise performance marketing campaigns, and social posts, adapting messages / ads and campaigns to our specific needs
- Develop the brand strategy and help craft the brand positioning and value proposition
- Lead and monitor 3 rd party research initiatives, with the aim of progressing customer perception of C-Screens
- Manage and produce marketing collateral including deck design, case studies, articles for owned/shared channels
- Produce marketing videos and manage professional photography for channels and events
- Across time, build a quality marketing team, leading by example
What does success look like?:
- Best in class marketing strategies using latest marketing techniques to drive value across the business.
- Building awareness and positioning of the company brand, increasing brand and channel awareness, ensuring social and e-mail marketing engagement increases
- Creation of events, participation in debate panels
What you will bring:
- Significant experience having worked in a similar B2B Marketing roles within the media sales industry
- Experience in CRM management,
- Strong growth marketing background, including performance marketing channels
- Experience of optimising and modelling data to support marketing activity effectively– data driven decision making measured against KPIs and ROI
- Market knowledge and deep customer insight to support the building of relevant and appealing value propositions and messaging
- Strong writing, editing and design skills
- Good PR contacts to leverage the company position
- Degree in a Marketing related subject or previous experience in highly recurring revenue business models is advantageous
- Proficient Microsoft office and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
