The Role
We have a great opportunity in our Marketing team as we expand our presence globally. This exciting new role will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to support business growth, enhance brand visibility and capitalize on market opportunities at a pivotal time for Geoteric.
You will be a creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for innovation. Experience in the energy sector with a deep understanding of sector dynamics, industry trends and customer preferences is vital to help us leverage our groundbreaking technology.
Success in this role will involve increasing Geoteric’s positioning, messaging and brand strength to support our business growth plans across the globe. Enthusiasm, drive, excellent social skills, and a capability to engage directly and consultatively with a wide range of stakeholders are essential to deliver success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver strategic marketing strategies to align with business growth plans.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify key trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in the energy sector.
- Utilize market insights to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for growth and differentiation.
- Enhance brand awareness and perception through effective messaging, storytelling, and brand-building initiatives.
- Create compelling marketing collateral, sales tools, and presentations to support product launches, software releases, and sales campaigns.
- Monitor the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels.
- Review campaign performance, analyze metrics, and optimize strategies to maximize ROI.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including customers, investors, industry influencers and media contacts.
- Attend industry events, conferences and trade shows to build brand awareness, gather competitive intelligence, and manage the event.
Personal Profile
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in strategic marketing roles within a scientific/technical B2B environment, ideally with some experience in the G&G sector.
- Track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that achieve measurable results and drive business growth.
- A strong interest in digital evolution, AI, and its application to subsurface technology.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Creative thinker with a flair for innovation.
- Leadership experience in cross-functional collaboration and team management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Highly motivated and innovative individual with a willingness and ability to travel.
- Educated to degree level in Marketing, Business, or related discipline.
Relationships
This role reports to the SVP - Global Sales and Marketing and will liaise closely with the sales, geosciences and product development teams, and a range of external stakeholders. You will be responsible for a small marketing team.
Location & Travel
The position is based in London with occasional travel to Geoteric offices and industry events.
