We are looking for a Senior Brand Strategist with several years of experience in brand building & communication to join our team of creative minds, tech-savvy craftsmen, digital dreamers and visual doers.
As our new Senior Brand Strategist, you will join our growing team and play a key role in defining and redefining the brands of tomorrow, working with both market leaders and challengers across a broad range of industries.
You will work closely with both our design, creative and innovation teams bridging the gap between strong digital solutions and inspiring brands people want to engage with.
Signifly UK
We opened our office in London just over 12 months ago. In the UK, we are a rapidly growing, strong team of strategists, Innovation Leads, developers and designers. We pride ourselves on having a diverse and inclusive environment. We have a wide variety of nationalities on the team. Additionally, we work with both North American and European businesses. We frequently work closely with our teams in Copenhagen and Canada.
Key tasks & responsibilities
- Preparing and facilitating strategic workshops with c-level and being able to understand core business challenges and translate them into human problems.
- Design and conduct research to gain a deeper understanding of the audience, business, culture and competitive landscape.
- Develop brand & communication strategy and platforms, messaging and rhetorical identities enabling the clients to run a more brand-led business.
- Develop creative strategy & briefs and work closely with our creative and design team on visual and creative concept development.
- Advise clients on business and CX strategy and its implications for brand and content.
- Take the lead on bigger client relationships and enable successful long-term partnerships in close collaboration with our Consultants & Innovation Leads.
What we expect from you (role requirements)
- You are a visionary and possess a genuine passion for the digital world - and the shaping of digital products, brands, and innovative business models.
- You are deeply business literate, with a good understanding of product and service innovation, digital & creative strategy processes and frameworks.
- You have a track record in building successful brands and concepts.
- You are able to combine creative exploration with analytical and structured thinking and can translate your findings into crisp recommendations and strategic guidance to clients.
- You have a solid toolbox of strategic tools, models, and frameworks used to build strong brands and solve complex business problems.
- Exceptional analytic thinking and strategy skills in the context of front-end innovation, brand-building, and digital growth strategy.
- You have a good understanding of the tech & digital landscape and an interest in the role technology plays in human culture today.
- You take a leading role in developing more junior colleagues and developing the strategy function within Signifly. This includes recruiting new talents to our growing team.
- You have a real desire to build a new group of work friends with strong social bonds and participate actively in our community.
Background and further qualifications
- You have at least three years of experience from a strategic and/or creative agency, with a focus on brand building. You have worked with creative campaigns on the agency side or been on the client side as a brand manager, strategist or concept developer.
- You have an academic background within brand management, business, marketing or social science – or have a convincing track record of how you picked up these skills otherwise; maybe through a leading role in a startup or as a founder.
- You have a good understanding of the offering, activities, and key principles of other areas of expertise in Signifly, especially within digital product-service design and front-end innovation.
- A basic understanding of what it takes to define and launch a successful product across opportunity definition, value proposition, user experience, technology and organization, business model and value chain.
