Join LEGO® Manufacturing Vietnam (LMV) as an Import & Export Manager and be a key player in shaping the future of global logistics for one of the world’s most beloved brands!
*This position will be temporarily based in Deutsches Haus, D1, HCMC and requires frequent travelling to our future factory in VSIP3, Tan Uyen, Binh Duong. Relocation to VSIP3 will be expected from early 2025. Transportation will be provided.
Core Responsibilities
Supervise the implementation of import and export activities and ensure compliance with import and export regulatory standards in export processing enterprises.
Check and process documents related to import and export of goods, monitor the transportation and customs clearance process of goods, and handle problems that arise during the import and export process.
Establish goals and streamline processes to comply with legal regulations.
Implement and respond to post-clearance audit (PCA).
Carry out annual customs finalisation reports (CFR) and work with customs authorities.
Regularly update regulations on Customs, import and export taxes for relevant departments.
Update and plan training for subordinates on import and export regulations.
Responsibility for keeping the principles of the Environment Policy and the Occupational Health & Safety Policy and to follow the rules within LEGO Group.
Keep high standard level of shipping and customs processes to meet and exceed LEGO company objectives.
Focus and responsible for smooth cooperation with all shipping customers to cover their existing needs and provides shipping services on expected levels, suggest possible improvements in shipping processes and make them alive.
Following global shipping policy, keep close communication and daily dialogue regarding in /out coming shipment in internal LMV factory and in external LEGO overseas factories, as well as some suppliers from overseas.
Keep close communication and daily dialogue with some local Authorities: Customs, Import-Export Management Department, VCCI... As well as some agents like clearance brokers etc. to ensure all activities are aligning with current Vietnam legislation.
Learn and understand the government's circulars and decrees related to import and export procedures, post-clearance inspection,...
Manage and maintain the systems in regarding shipping for SAP, Electronic Customs Declaration software (ECUS).
Be able to support and substitute all shipping local team members.
Other tasks are assigned from superiors.

The mission of the department is to secure that each shipment reaches the right customer within the requested time plus to secure the most suitable transportation modes, cost & quality in respect to effectiveness. All this is complying to current legislation to EPE business model.
Do you have what it takes?
Prefer candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree or above in major of Business Administration Management/ Foreign Trade/ Logistics & Supply Chain Management/ International Economics or equivalent
Good command of English
3-5 years experiences in leading Import-Export team on manager level with team size of 5-10 members
Solid understanding in multinational manufacturing companies in the field of import and export (EPE enterprise).
Experienced in Customs Finalization Report.
Experienced in SAP system.
Have in-depth knowledge of import-export and risk management.
Good problem-solving skills, able to identify and structure issues, run accurate analysis and synthesize recommendations.
Strong communication & inter-personal skills, able to work under pressure.
Proven record in professional working style with demonstrated ability provide support effectively, also in a matrix environment – working with large cross-functional, cross-cultural teams.
Good work organisation & prioritisation
MS Office (Power Point and Excel is a must, Power BI is a plus)
Knowledge of planning, purchasing or warehousing will be an advantage
