This is a 18-month contract role for parental leave. No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
Core Responsibilities
You will play a central role in the marketing team as product expert for the portfolio, and be accountable for driving performance aligned with key success metrics.
Brand Management (60%)
- Be the product and audience expert for an assigned portfolio
- Develop and implement innovative marketing plans, grounded in insights that drive brand equity and build active consumers
- You will have a “one team” attitude; collaborating with a variety of functions across Marketing, Sales, Operations and Business Intelligence, to ensure alignment with audience strategies and achievement of objectives
- Review competitors' activity and changing market needs in order to facilitate adjustments to audience strategies when needed
- Feed into pricing and lead assortment for the portfolio
- Be an active member of the APAC Brand Marketing Network for respective themes and audiences
- Develop and implement media strategies (both traditional and digital), working closely with agency partners
- Lead commercial partner relationships aligned with the portfolio and audience responsibilities of this role
- Input into the BU strategy development, objective setting process and consumer communications planning
- Prepare for and present theme assortment and supporting marketing activities at key selling-in and collaboration meetings throughout the year
Business Management (40%)
- Lead consumer sales recommendations for the audience portfolio; which includes monthly forecasting and active participation in the S&OP planning process
- Weekly analysis and evaluation of theme and product performance. Work collaboratively across all functions to identify and implement short term tactics to improve performance as required
- Have a continual improvement mentality; achieved through commercial performance review and analysis, campaign after action reviews, global case studies and performance benchmarks
- Plan and run budgets related to multiple brands and marketing campaigns

This role is part of the ANZ Marketing Organisation and reports into the Brand Director. Brand is a function of the overall marketing team, which includes Digital Marketing, Trade Marketing, Brand Relations and Marketing Planning; all reporting into the Senior Director, Head of Marketing.
Do you have what it takes?
- In-depth consumer goods experience with a track record in brand or product management
- High level of marketing understanding and commercial competence
- Experience driving brand growth and health metrics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills with a proficiency in using data to drive business results
- Positive and effective team-player, with experience working cross-functionally to bring plans to life
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritise
- Curious about learning, with a growth mentality
- Passionate about the brand!
