Core Responsibilities
- Crafting a culture passionate about delivering outstanding customer service within the AR department
- Manage debt collection for all America Markets. You will be responsible in ensuring all the daily transactional tasks are completed on time and support the Team Lead in handling other ad-hoc tasks.
- Follow up on overdue and collection
- Advise payment allocation
- Fronting Customers
- Order Release
- Monitoring of Credit Limit Utilization (for order release purpose)
- Sending of Weekly Aging Report
- Reconciliation of customer accounts
- Follow up on CTT ; Claims & Deduction issues
- Collection Worklist (including pre-collection)
- Customer account statements (sending of SOA)
- Provision calculations check (doubtful & bad debt) – adjustments
- Credit Risk Wheel involvement (to highlight on collection issues)
- Outsource to Intrum / lawyers
- Auditor’s reconciliation
- Month end Debtor Reporting & Control Tool tasks
- Being a part of the AR team, you may be required to support and Back-Up fellow team member when requested.

Do you have what it takes
The ideal candidate will have finance background focusing on optimization and process excellence - robust, resilient, embracing change with a proactive, can-do demeanor. Strong analytical skills are vital, and knowledge of Lean Management would be beneficial. You thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability and a dedication to continuous improvement.
- Few years of professional working experience, preferably in a related financial role or a position where capabilities are transferable.
- Experience with SAP and MS Office tools.
- Good Crisis Management and able to contain issues efficiently with good Problem-Solving skill.
- Personal drive and initiative, excellent collaboration skills and developed ability to build trust and credibility with assigned business areas or other key partners and collaborators.
- Confidence in making informed and justifiable decisions for own functional area.
- Preferably proven working experience in MNC
- Keeping to the SLA promises and has a sense of urgency
- Knowledge on how to use PDCA as an improvement tool
- Ability to identify the root causes of problem when arises
- Good Crisis Management skill and able to contain the issue effectively
- Very good command in English.
