Boutique New York-based Hedge Fund is seeking a new Full-Time/Permanent Executive/Personal Assistant to support the Co-Founder/Chief Investment Officer. Candidates must have a minimum of 7-10+ years of applicable C-level executive administrative support experience working in financial services (required) and a Bachelor’s degree is required. Ideal candidates should be extremely polished and professional, deadline-driven, and “calm under pressure” while simultaneously being accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment. They should also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) and be able to really “manage up” as the Executive is very nice but extremely busy with a short attention span. This is a newly created position with the opportunity to take on more and grow down the line!

Salary depends on experience (150-225k base), plus discretionary bonus eligibility. Fully paid medical/dental, 401k, etc.

Hours are 7:00/7:30am – 5:00pm, with flexibility. 5 days in office.
Responsibilities:

Provide high-level executive administrative support to the Co-Founder/Chief Investment Officer.

Schedule and organize extensive internal and external meetings, conference/video calls, events/conferences, and appointments; manage and maintain a busy and ever-changing calendar.

Coordinate complex domestic and international travel arrangements and detailed itineraries.

Prepare, process, and submit expense reports.

Draft, type, and edit emails and correspondence.

Assist with personal administrative duties, including coordinating personal/family travel arrangements, liaising with CIO’s wife (who is absolutely lovely!), helping to coordinate between households (NYC & Hamptons), etc.

Assist with ad hoc/Investor Relations projects as needed.
Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum 7-10+ years of C-level executive administrative support experience working for a CEO/Founder or “top person” in financial services (required).

Bachelor’s degree required.

Able to “manage up” and keep Executive on task.

Deadline-driven and “calm under pressure” while accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment.

Extremely polished, forward-facing, and professional.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).

Strong MS Office Suite skills; tech savvy.
