We are looking for a Senior SRE Engineer to join our Product Reliability and Operations team. We provide innovative evidence management software to some of the world's leading law firms, governments and corporations. We are leaders in legal digital transformation around the world.
As a Senior SRE Engineer you will be part of the core Platform Operations function that is responsible for security, delivery, and availability for multiple critical assets in the Legal Technology Portfolio.
You will also be expected to participate in the On-Call rotation which supports our maintenance, scheduled work, support and release/deployment requirements.
About the Role
In this opportunity, you will:
- Be a Technical Leader: Implement best practices as knowledge expert in SRE methodology.
- Be a Project Leader: Strategically plan, design and implement Operations projects to deliver value to customers, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Be an efficient Stakeholder: Collaborate and engage with external and internal stakeholders such as business teams, product owners, project management and support team in defining priority issues and refining processes. Act as point of contact in resolving stakeholder issues.
- Be a Decision Maker: Make quick and effective data driven decisions, with good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Focus on Continuous improvement and technical standards – Drive improvements in productivity, monitoring, tooling and set industry best practices.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Senior SRE, if you:
- Have experience working with three-tier web applications, running in public and/or private cloud.
- Have technical experience using:
- Azure Cloud and its services, e.g IIS / Azure App Service
- Reverse Proxies, such as Azure Application Gateway
- Basic Networking
- Infrastructure as code deployment methodologies, such as ARM, Bicep or Terraform
- DevOps deployment declarative languages such as YAML
- Scaling database technologies such as MS SQL Monitoring and Alerting tooling such as DataDog or Application Insights.
- Handle the setup and maintenance of the IT infrastructure on Azure and Windows servers
- Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline routine tasks and prevent errors.
- Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
- Ensure systems are secure and meet regulatory requirements.
- Project and Release lifecycle experience.
- Have expertise in driving technology strategy and execution, while establishing strategic partnerships and delivering against product requirements.
- Are an effective communicator with relevant experience leading and influencing others, demonstrating an ability to partner effectively with internal and external partners.
- Possess strong knowledge of current technologies, with proficiency in the areas of automation, DevOps, cloud native architecture, and system monitoring.
