As a Senior IT Operations Specialist at Crunchyroll, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and support for our Hyderabad Office. In the Senior IT Operations Specialist role, you will report to the Director of IT Operations.
About the role
We seek a Senior IT Operations Specialist with at least 8+ years of Helpdesk / Operations / Administration experience. This person determines methods and procedures for a new assignment and has at least one technical certification within the IT domain.
A day in the life of our Senior IT Operations specialist:
- Contributes to the improvement of IT Projects at a ratio of 80/20
- Triaging and executing support requests by users of existing IT services
- Configuring computers and modifying permissions on servers and cloud environments
- Meeting with staff to troubleshoot and resolve IT Service issues
- Suggesting, implementing, and fine-tuning IT Services and processes
- Maintaining automation scripts
- Modifying user groups
- Maintaining secure permissions across all IT Services
- Interacting with users across multiple time zones including Japan, USA, Latin America, France, Germany, Moldova
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer Okta, JAMF, and Intune platforms to ensure secure and efficient management of devices and applications.
- Provide expert-level support for Apple MacOS systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain IT systems and services that align with Crunchyroll's business needs and security standards.
- Lead and contribute to IT operations projects, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and user experience.
- Monitor and optimize IT infrastructure performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT Operations, with a focus on system administration and support.
- Strong proficiency in managing Okta, JAMF, and Intune platforms.
- Expertise in supporting Apple MacOS systems in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with other IT systems and tools such as Google Workspace, Atlassian Jira/Confluence, Slack, and Zoom is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and teams.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
