We have been retained by a growing Boston law firm with a robust client portfolio to search for a Junior to Mid-Level Business/Employment Law Attorney.
Position Overview
This law firm focuses on providing business and employment legal counsel to clients across industries and geographic locations, ranging from start-ups to larger companies, local businesses to nationwide corporations. The Business/Employment Law Attorney will provide advice and counsel to businesses on employment, benefits, business or commercial matters. The ideal candidate will have litigation experience and be knowledgeable, resourceful, and self-motivated. The role offers significant mentorship and the potential to develop a robust legal career while managing diverse and impactful work.
About the Practice
The practice is built on a foundation of providing efficient, strategic, and effective legal solutions tailored to the clients' needs. Expertise spans employment and benefits law, commercial contracts, internal investigations, litigation, and more. With a national client base across various industries-including life sciences and media-this practice has a reputation for delivering exceptional legal counsel.
Key Qualifications
- 4-8 years' experience in business and employment law.
- Open to an in-house attorney but must have a firm background.
- Prefer an attorney with litigation experience including motion practice and court appearances. Strong drafting skills are a must.
- Private sector experience preferred and open to all industries. Familiarity with life sciences and media is a plus.
- Experienced in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Admission to the MA state bar.
Compensation: Competitive and based on experience.
Location: The office is located in Boston but the firm is open to in-office, hybrid and remote arrangements.
