Key Responsibilities:
- Review title commitments, surveys and handle closing mechanics
- Support with corporate mergers and acquisitions, setting up LLCs
- Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to achieve optimal outcomes for transactions.
- Represent clients in negotiations and resolve disputes through alternative dispute resolution methods or litigation when necessary.
- Stay current with relevant laws and regulations affecting real estate and corporate law.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Tennessee.
- 5 years of experience in corporate law, real estate transactions, and business law.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate and corporate governance issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
- A client-focused, collaborative, and professional attitude.
