LEGO® Procurement in Billund is looking for a Senior Project Procurement Leader who is passionate about creating the next generation of Play! We need an experienced cross functional collaborator to deliver business recommendations while navigating complex scenarios and a wide group of stakeholders. Core Responsibilities
- Be the Project Procurement Leader partnering with the Innovation organization. Focused on accessing supplier technology roadmaps and reorientating them towards TLG Innovation needs.
- Continuously and proactively linking supplier technologies and innovations into the Innovation groups. Bring the outside in.
- Lead the governance process for accessing IP and freedom to practice for new technologies.
- Collaborate as part of the project team to develop State of the art Innovation for next generation Elements.
- Be the one point of contact on behalf of the project team towards the Category Management and NPI experts and the development organization.
- Participate and lead activities with internal project team members including Quality, Process Engineering, Mold Engineering, and external suppliers.
- Drive and own the business engagement model decision with all external partners on behalf of the project
- Provide expert partner & supplier management, budget management, cost negotiations and drive Statement of work documents with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure that a holistic approach is taken, so that Cost, Total Cost of Ownership, Risk, Environmental footprint, Manufacturability and Supply chain setup are concurrently quantified and considered, alongside other aspects of the projects.

The mission of procurement is to ensure global supply base operational excellence while complying to LEGO requirements. This role focuses on supporting the product development of new Elements from Early exploration to design freeze, working with both internal and external partners to deliver the project objectives.
Do you have what it takes?
- Experience working in an Upstream Innovation environment, comfortable with ambiguity, and defining your priorities and workplan.
- 7+ years relevant working experience in procurement, strategic sourcing and project management
- Understanding of plastic manufacturing technology, resins, surface finishing and coloring technologies.
- Supplier management experience in a multinational manufacturing environment
- Strong negotiation, communication, influencing and problem solving skills with ability to create and manage supplier and stakeholder relationships
- Proven experience in cost modeling and cost structure
- Familiar with New Product Introduction (NPI) procurement activities including IP negotiation and contracting.
- Willingness and ability to travel
