Core responsibilities
In this role, your primary focus will be the digital transformation of mould manufacturing, engineering, and tooling operations. You will bring product vision and strategy to life in close collaboration with engineering teams, production, quality, and Digital Technology. Specifically, you will:
- Develop a clear and ambitious product vision and strategy for digital solutions supporting mould manufacturing and communicate it effectively to partners and product teams to ensure alignment and commitment.
- Translate business and manufacturing objectives into a prioritized product roadmap, identifying and shaping new ideas that enhance efficiency, reliability, quality, and overall performance of tooling operations.
- Create a clear link between Product objectives and overall objectives for digital investments within the LEGO Group.
- Lead product discovery with engineers, technicians, researchers, and cross-functional partners to explore, test, and validate new concepts that improve mould lifecycle management, machining workflows, and production planning.
- Define key outcomes, timelines, and metrics for product success, and set quarterly OKRs aligned with strategic goals for Mould Manufacturing and Engineering.
- Work closely with end users in mould engineering and Manufacturing to ensure the product continuously improves and addresses real operational needs.
- Collaborate with UX specialists and integrate usability studies into requirements to ensure intuitive and efficient tools for highly skilled manufacturing users.
- Ensure clear communication of priorities and changes across engineering, production, and Digital Technology stakeholders.
- Maintain a clear and prioritized backlog, create user stories, and actively participate in sprint planning to guide the development team.
- Foster a culture of continuous delivery, ensuring incremental releases that create measurable value for mould manufacturing area.
- Act as a subject matter expert for digital products supporting mould manufacturing, providing essential insight into engineering workflows, system integrations, and operational needs.

You will join the Digital Product Management team supporting Manufacturing Operations, a group of dedicated colleagues in London and Billund. We focus on continuous improvement and embody the LEGO values while enabling world-class manufacturing across our global moulding network.
As Senior Digital Product Manager, you will play a vital role in modernizing our mould manufacturing and tooling capabilities. You will own the product backlog and ensure we deliver digital solutions that improve productivity, precision, quality, and the end-to-end mould lifecycle for the LEGO Group.
Do you have what it takes?
The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years of relevant experience, ideally within manufacturing and engineering environments, and has led cross-functional agile teams through the full product lifecycle. Experience with MES, CAM, PLM, and machining/EDM-related systems is a strong advantage. In addition, you bring:
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and the digital technology landscape supporting core manufacturing processes and operations
- Curiosity and technical understanding of software development practices, data platforms, and integration-heavy system landscapes.
- Experience managing enterprise-scale products in a global industrial or manufacturing context.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate problems, extract requirements, and translate engineering needs into clear product direction.
- Ability to identify trends in operational data, user feedback, and performance metrics to guide product improvements.
- Strategic thinking combined with practical collaboration across engineering, technology, design, and business teams.
- A strong learning mindset and self-awareness.
- Ability to speak Danish would be beneficial
The position is based in Billund, DK and relocation support is not offered for this role.
