Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Client Account Lead to manage a prestigious and complex property portfolio. The role requires operational oversight, financial acumen, and strategic management to ensure properties maintain consistent branding, service delivery, and compliance with regulations, while aligning with the organisation’s goals. The Account Lead will engage with key stakeholders to deliver high-quality estate management services, requiring strong leadership and client relationship skills to unify internal teams and the client.
Key Responsibilities :
Property Maintenance & Operations :
- Build a professional, proactive client relationship and fully understand their requirements.
- Ensure properties are well-maintained, legally compliant, and meet high standards.
- Consistent client reporting and measured outcomes.
- Regular property inspections.
- Chair team and client meetings.
Financial Management :
- Present, manage, and understand property budgets, including operational and capital costs.
- Monitor portfolio financial performance, revenue collection, and invoicing accuracy.
- Provide financial reports and forecasts, with recommendations for cost-saving measures.
Tenant Relations :
- Lead tenant meetings and ensure follow-up.
- Oversee lease agreements, renewals, and rent reviews.
- Foster strong tenant relationships to ensure long-term occupancy.
Strategic Planning & Project Management :
- Implement long-term asset management strategies to maximise property value and rental income.
- Collaborate with the client and marketing lead to build brand and sense of place.
- Lead estate improvement projects, including sustainability initiatives.
- Align estate management with broader organisational goals.
Compliance & Risk Management :
- Ensure compliance with property legislation, health and safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage insurance requirements and contingency plans.
- Maintain accurate property records and statutory documentation via CAFM.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Proven experience as an Account Lead or similar role in real estate or facilities management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of property legislation, health and safety regulations.
- Expertise in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
- Relevant qualifications in Property Management, Real Estate, Facilities Management, or similar.
- Memberships such as RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or IWFM (Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management) preferred.
- Degree qualification preferred.
