Sales Director - IT Consulting - FinTech - Fully Remote within the UK (Client site visits required)
I have just partnered with a leading IT Consultancy who specialise in providing innovative Tech solutions to companies in the UK.
With an established and growing client base within the FinTech sector and having doubled in size in the last 12 months, with plans to double again in 2025 and a current team of 20, they are looking for a dynamic, autonomous, and driven Sales Director to come on board and continue to grow the company off the back of its stunning organic success thus far!
What will I be doing?
The Sales Director will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding the company market presence within the UK IT Consulting sector.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and growth/client targets.
- Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify and target new business opportunities within the Software Development sector in the UK and beyond, while nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Business Development: Drive the creation of proposals and presentations, and oversee the negotiation and closing of contracts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Leadership team to ensure alignment between sales strategies and overall business goals, including reporting on sales progress and metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous business development opportunities.
- Client Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance market presence and build strategic partnerships.
- Market Analysis: Engage with the UK FinTech market and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and adapt strategies accordingly.
What do I need to bring?
You will have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience leading the sales strategy within the IT Consulting or Software Development sector, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Experience in the UK FinTech sector will be a huge advantage.
Skills Required:
- Strong ability to identify and engage with new clients across the Software Development sector.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of IT consulting services and solutions.
- Ability to build and maintain high-level client relationships.
- Proficiency in sales and CRM tools.
