The Job Role:
- The experienced Director of Sales will drive and sell all market segments for the hotel including leisure & corporate, with a focus on corporate business.
- This role will report into the hotel General Manager.
- Identify opportunities for new local corporate business through research, cold calling, and networking events.
- The Director of Sales will be the face of the business during client show-rounds, FAM trips, as well as representing the hotel & company at trade shows & exhibitions.
The Requirements:
- The Director of Sales will have previous experience and proven success in a proactive sales role.
- Solid track record of securing new business within the MICE & corporate sectors.
- Knowledge and experience of developing and implementing the sales strategy.
- Ability to use initiative and negotiate rates to secure new business at all times.
