Join us as Director of Global LEGOLAND Strategy and drive the collaborative vision between LEGO® and Merlin Entertainments to deliver inspiring, cohesive, and immersive brand experiences worldwide!
Core Responsibilities
This Billund-based role aims to strengthen the LEGO Group and Merlin Entertainments partnership by aligning strategic priorities, enabling top-level collaboration, overseeing key projects, and leading data-driven decision-making:
Leadership: Shape the Merlin Partnership strategy with a focus on talent growth, motivation, and team satisfaction. Model LEGO values, foster open feedback, and promote a “One Team” approach.
Strategic Project Planning: Create and complete a strategic project roadmap with alignment from senior leadership. Collaborate with project owners to define scope, deliverables, and timelines.
Senior Partner Communication: Coordinate agendas, materials, and documentation for Steering Committee meetings to cover all major topics and initiatives.
Data and Insights: Lead the data and analytics team to support informed decision-making.
Executive Projects and Communication: Oversee key brand and commercial projects and develop executive presentations for KIRKBI, Merlin, and LEGO leadership.

Merlin Partnership is crucial for encouraging a positive relationship between The LEGO Group and Merlin Entertainments, supporting the LEGO mission to nurture and develop future builders. This includes establishing strategic partnerships and facilitating connections between LEGOLAND and The LEGO Group.
Merlin Entertainments Group is the second largest theme park operator in the world; number 1 in Europe, with 100+ attractions worldwide reaching more than 60 million guests annually. The group owns and operates 10 LEGOLAND Parks, 25 indoor LEGOLAND Discovery Centres, 7 LEGOLAND Hotels and 3 LEGOLAND Water Parks with an ambition to increase the global footprint year on year.
Do you have what it takes?
Extensive experience in strategic consulting, business development, corporate finance, or similar fields, with a focus on driving strategic outcomes.
High level of integrity, resilience, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to distill data and insights into actionable recommendations.
Skilled in cross-cultural and cross-functional communication, effectively navigating complex partner networks.
Passionate about achieving goals and collaborating effectively with others, with a willingness to frequently travel for international business engagement.
Plus: Knowledge of the theme parks/leisure industry, experience with child/family categories, or supporting premium brands.
