Join our Facilities & Waste Management team and help keep our factory running smoothly every day. This is a hands-on, operational role in a manufacturing environment, where you will work close to the shopfloor, facilities, and service partners to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient site operations.
Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will coordinate the day-to-day operations of our (outsourced) Facilities Services and Waste Management, acting as a key partner to the Head of IFM & Operations Support. More over, you will:
- Manage waste administration and reporting, including preparation of documentation, monthly data tracking, and consolidation of supplier data
- Oversee external waste and facility service providers, ensuring compliance with legal, environmental, and company requirements
- Find opportunities to reduce waste and improve recycling rates, and support the implementation of related projects in cooperation with Sustainable Operations
- Ensure compliant and secure scrapping of LEGO products in line with novelty protection and internal policies
- Maintain and lead 5S activities and audits within the waste and facilities area
- Represent Facilities in meetings with employee representatives and internal partners, ensuring professional communication and collaboration
- Support a safe and compliant workplace by helping to prevent, detect, and report environmental, health, and safety risks
This position is located in our Kladno manufacturing site and there is no relocation assistance offered for this role.

Our Facilities and Operations Support team ensures the smooth day-to-day operation of the factory by maintaining building technologies through preventive and reactive maintenance, always in line with relevant legislation and standards. The team also focuses on identifying energy-saving opportunities and operating all facilities and equipment in accordance with LEGO® values.
Do you have what it takes?
- Proven experience in facilities or waste management, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to remain calm and take a practical perspective
- Able to adapt, improvise, and work effectively with diverse teams and nationalities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Great teammate with strong communication skills
- Language skills: fluent in Czech, English at B1 level or above
What would be an advantage:
- Driving License B
- Interest in environmental and sustainability topics
- Experience with Coupa or Power BI
