CloudPay is looking for an Associate HR Business Partner based in Manila to join and support the APAC HR team. This role will be providing support for a variety of HR functions, including employee relations, performance management and business partnering with our people managers across the APAC region.
The ideal candidate will directly report to the HR Director, APAC, work closely with HR BP, HR Internal Payroll, HR Shared Services, and support the other functions in the APAC / global HR team. The role includes supporting & advising employees in HR policies & procedures and related regulatory or legal subjects and requirements. This is a great opportunity to solidify your experience in Philippines’ HR practices and gain a solid grounding in other APAC HR practices.
Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:
HR Policies, Employee Relations and Business Partnering
- Provide PH support and ER / HR BP advice for the APAC People Managers, including identifying trends and areas for improvement and working with them to implement solutions
- Provide input to develop and improve existing company policies, procedures, and documentation
- Provide support for end-to-end employee life cycle, including answering queries, advising on HR policies & procedures, and managing employee-related issues
- Monitor, assess and ensure compliance with the Labor Laws, employment standards, and company policies.
- Stay updated on changes in legislation and industry standards and recommend necessary adjustments to maintain compliance; advising on any required
- Support health and safety programs and initiatives to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
- Participate in onboarding & offboarding activities (i.e conduct new hire orientations and exit interviews) in adherence to company’s operational excellence standards
- Complies with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; advising on any required
- Support day-to-day HR Operations, HR Business Partnering and projects as required
Engagement and Projects
- Initiate and support company-wide events and engagement activities that will promote wellness, healthy culture and high performance and productivity
- Active use of HR engagement data to identify and understand alignment of people and business priorities as well as identify where change/improvement can bring benefit to HR, business and people
- Promote wellness programs and initiatives to support employee health.
- Support ad-hoc projects and global initiatives as required
Attributes and Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an HR Generalist, ER Specialist or similar role
- Good knowledge and understanding of Philippine / APAC employment law and local practice
- Ability to work independently and strong problem-solving skills
- Flexible and able to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- English language skills required
- Twice a week onsite report – minimum office visit requirement
