Overview:
The E-commerce Specialist plays a pivotal role in leading, managing and optimizing our online sales channels, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers and driving revenue growth. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and business acumen.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platform(s), including product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory management on various marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho etc
- Optimize product listings for search visibility and conversion, including keyword research, product descriptions, and imagery.
- Able to create/execute/run/optimize various ad campiagns on Ad portals of marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho etc.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, conversion rates, average order value (AOV), customer acquisition cost (CAC), and return on investment (ROI), and take actions to optimize performance.
- Analyze sales data and website metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product, design team) to coordinate promotions, product launches, and other initiatives.
- Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends to identify best practices and opportunities for innovation.
- Stay updated on e-commerce technologies, platforms, and tools, and evaluate new solutions to enhance our online presence and capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or related field.
- Proven experience (typically 2-3 years) in e-commerce, preferably in a retail or consumer goods industry.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra etc).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset, able to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels (e.g., PPC, email, social media) and their integration with e-commerce platforms.
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Experience with international e-commerce operations and cross-border selling.
- Certifications or coursework related to e-commerce, digital marketing.
