JOB DESCRIPTION

Role (Position): Territory Manager
Department/Process: Sales
Reports to: Regional Manager / Zonal Manager
Location: Branches
Experience & Skills:
- Extensive experience in Sales.
- Good communication skills and ability to manage a team for the complete cycle from Lead generation to collection.
Primary Function:
Managing the set objectives of revenue management, collections, team management, and other disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve Business Plan for the specified area of operation/customer markets.
- Should have some experience in the Government Segment on any construction equipment range (preferably lighting/switchgears/transformers). Candidates from a furniture background will be considered.
- Should have long-sightedness for long-term orders. This means effective working on long sales cycle projects.
- Performance Management - To drive the business and plan assigned to the vertical.
- Use CRM for effective sales data management.
- Ensure market development by formulating & implementing a promotional plan for the defined area of operation.
- Network & build relations with key specifiers (Architects, Electrical Consultants, and customers of this area).
- Map and evaluate lead generation & conversion.
- Drive customer acquisition & large deals.
- Raise indents, follow up on material, update customers on delivery schedules, follow compliance on invoice submissions (in case of direct orders), collect payments, and involve the service team for closure of customer complaints to ensure high satisfaction levels for further retention and business.
Authorities (empowered to take decisions):
- Shortlisting of channels for appointment.
- Dos and Don'ts on customer addressal. Deciding which customer set to target & which not.
