Core Responsibilities
- Set a compelling product vision and strategy for our future PELM backbone – Product & Experience Lifecycle Management – by synthesizing business strategy, stakeholder needs and external insights
- Transform the product vision into actionable Objectives, Key Results and plans for cross-functional product teams developing digital products used to operate the business across the value chain
- Drive enterprise-wide PLM transformation for the LEGO Group – building the platform for the next 10+ years of growth
- Balance the need for preparing the digital infrastructure of the LEGO Group for future business models – while protecting the ERP transition of the current business from SAP Galaxy to SAP S4/HANA
- Work in close partnership with executive stakeholders and partners across the business within product development, operations, markets, finance and digital technology
- Build and support a culture of team empowerment – enabling teams to thrive by giving them challenging problems to tackle, and providing the context and conditions for them to perform
- Directly lead and develop a small of team of product managers responsible for a suite of digital products orchestrating all PELM products across the domains of the digital infrastructure
Play your part in our team succeeding
You will join the Portfolio Management team in our Product & Marketing Development organization, a team enabling planning and executive decision making of the LEGO product portfolio - through:
- Facilitating strategic decision-making and establishing targets balancing strategic and commercial objectives, development capacity and operational constraints.
- Enabling effective resource planning and portfolio trade-offs to be made at the right time, by the right people, balancing business value and workload.
- Building and developing E2E business processes and portfolio systems, designed for simplicity, effective collaboration and team empowerment.
- Re-defining how we work to empower cross organizational teams to deliver innovation and business value in a dynamic environment
You will also join a cross-functional community of Digital Heads of Products accountable for all digital products used to operate the LEGO business, working in close partnership with our digital technology organization.
Do you have what it takes?
- Experience: 10+ years in PLM transformations and product leadership incl practical knowledge of a variety of industry-solutions like SAP PLM, Siemens TeamCenter, PTC Windchill (or similar)
- Leadership and Collaboration: Extensive track record of managing executive stakeholders, leading and motivating teams. making decisions and communicating successfully. Skilled in tight-knit collaboration with both functional experts and senior decision makers.
- Adaptability and Innovation: Capable of navigating in a complex, creative environment and excellent at creating order while providing room for innovation
- Initiative and Teamwork: Dedicated and focused individual who takes initiative, acts on opportunities, and thrives in a team-oriented setting.
