Are you a passionate storyteller and media relations expert excited about an opportunity to build and protect the reputation of one of the world’s most beloved brands?
We are looking for an outstanding colleague to help lead how we communicate externally about the LEGO brand, our business, and our values – with children as our role models.
The role is a 12-month parental cover and reports to the Head of Corporate Communications.
Core Responsibilities
Media relations: Build and manage global media relationships, with primary responsibility for Danish financial, business, consumer, and lifestyle media. Lead proactive media outreach, ensure consistent messaging, and support the global press office.
Corporate brand storytelling: Create and bring to life compelling and creative brand narratives in collaboration with internal partners. Lead global campaigns, including messaging, activation, tracking and agency management.
Issues Management: Handle issues as they arise, working closely with relevant colleagues.
Financial Communications: Lead communications for financial results, externally and internally.
Communications Partnering: Act as a key contact for internal partners and the wider communications team. Support leaders and spokespeople with thought leadership and messaging that effectively communicate the LEGO brands’ direction and priorities.

Do you have what it takes?
The ideal candidate brings solid experience in media relations within Denmark, with the ability to navigate in an ever-changing media landscape coupled with relevant experience working with large brands, ideally global, or at an agency. A background in journalism is a plus. In addition, we hope to see:
Strong skills in handling issues and crisis management
Experience counselling senior business leaders.
A self-starter who can inspire and motivate others, leading by example
Strong project management skills, with a dedication to quality and attention to detail.
Thrives in a fast-paced international environment
Fluent in Danish and English, written and spoken, is required.
